Hillary Clinton Donald Trump

The 2016 elections are over and Donald Trump is president-elect. Californians predominantly voted for Hillary Clinton, but Trump got some of the swing states that mattered most, such as Florida and Pennsylvania, by less than 2 percent.
In Butte County, 48.9 percent of voters favored Trump, 43.8 percent Clinton. The other 7.3 percent went to third-party candidates Gary Johnston, Jill Stein and Gloria La Riva.
Statewide, Clinton earned 61.5 percent of California’s votes, while Trump received 33.2 percent.
Butte County was one of the 26 counties won by Trump. The other 32 counties voted for Clinton.
