Eleven suspects were arrested within 25 hours last month for driving under the influence.

Between 2 a.m. on April 23 and 3 a.m. on April 24, Chico Police Officers made 10 misdemeanor DUI arrests and one felony DUI arrest.

All two of the incidents occurred after dark, and eight of the arrests occurred after 11 p.m.

According to a Chico Police Department news release, the arrests were all made by officers on routine patrol.

The felony arrest was made at 231 W. 9th St. on April 23 after 21-year-old Jace Claytor, the alleged driver of the vehicle, collided with another vehicle while under the influence—injuring three others.

Of the 11 incidents, these were the only three injuries. The three victims—one of which was pregnant— were taken to Enloe Medical Center minor injuries.

No one from the police department returned calls/was available/agreed to comment.
