23 California fires burn over 300,000 acres


More than 10,000 firefighters are fighting 23 fires in California that have consumed over 300,000 acres. CAL Fire has reported more than 4,900 fires in California this year.  In comparison, the agency reported 3,674 fires that burned 202,716 acres last year.
